Beth Goolesby joined Empower Me Center in 2000 and while her current job title is the Adult Program Director, she has worn many hats. She began as a Team Leader and then served many years as Assistant Camp Director.
Beth graduated from Lebanon High School then Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN with an undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education. While teaching at the Wilson County Alternative School, Beth earned her Masters and Specialist in Education Degrees in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.
Beth also spent time as a Principal for a residential facility in Alabama before returning to Lebanon and serving as the Director of the Alternative School Program for the Lebanon Special School District. She received the Teacher of the Year Award in 2002 representing her school, and has served on several Boards of Directors in local groups.
Beth loves to find new things to craft and sell at craft shows. She resides in Lebanon, Tennessee with her husband, Jason, and they have five amazing children, Brittany, Justin, Brandon, Jackson, and Robin...a.k.a. Birdie! They are members of Fairview Church and enjoy spending time together as a family as often as possible. Beth’s passion is supporting foster care and adoptive families and empowering individuals with disabilities to have the best life possible!
