Morgan's super power:

Facilitate!

“You win in life with people” - Pat Summitt

I believe in the power of people to create opportunities where everyone can belong, participate, and discover what they are capable of—because sometimes having someone believe in you is what makes you willing to believe in yourself.

Morgan Hill joined the Empower Me Team in August 2026, bringing more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit world and a lifelong passion for sports and recreation. Before joining Empower Me, Morgan served as the Head Coach of women’s wheelchair basketball, the Lady Movin’ Mavs, at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Morgan’s connection to UTA runs even deeper, as she was the first woman wheelchair basketball player to attend the university. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from UTA and went on to represent Team USA in wheelchair basketball. Her experiences as an athlete, coach, and nonprofit professional have shaped her passion for creating opportunities for others through sports and recreation.

Originally born and raised in Gordonsville, Tennessee, Morgan returned home in 2026 after nearly five years of coaching in Texas. She lives in Gordonsville with her husband, Chris, and their son, Cal, who was born in January 2026. The Hills are a sports-loving family who enjoy attending sporting events together and look forward to introducing Cal to the many sports they love and, hopefully, creating a lifelong sports fan along the way.
